I booked a KLM 'Basic' ticket, is the FRENKY bag free?
Yes! With a 'Basic' ticket, a large cabin trolley (55x35x25 cm) is no longer included. However, you are still allowed to bring a 'Small Bag' (max 40x30x15 cm) under your seat. By utilizing the FRENKY compression hack, it is guaranteed to fly for free.
How do I achieve the 15 cm depth limit?
Use the vacuum compartment for your clothes and pull the compression straps on the side as tight as possible. Keep the outer pockets empty (don't overstuff) and place flat items, like your laptop, tight against the back panel. This keeps the profile slim.
What if I booked a Light, Standard or Flex ticket?
If you booked a Light, Standard, or Flex ticket with KLM, you are allowed to bring a larger overhead cabin bag in addition to the FRENKY underseat bag.
Does the vacuum system make the bag wider?
No, the opposite. You remove air from your clothes, not the bag. It actually helps you make the bag extra "flat" for KLM's strict sizing.
What about warranty and shipping?
